Penny and her husband Pete have been with Harvest since the beginning and are the parents of two grade school-aged boys. A native of Clay County, Penny also leads a ladies small group at Harvest and volunteers in the children's ministry.
Daizzee and her husband Richard have been attending Harvest since January 2009 and currently lead a small gropu o the Westside. They are blessed to be the parents of two wonderful children. Along wih a passion for health and fitness, Daizzee loves being a homemaker and ministering to guests at home and at Harvest. Her greatest joys are knowing Jesus and being able to serve others.
Richard (Rick) was saved while in college in 2007. He has been attending Harveest since 2009. He and his wife, Daizzee, along with their two kids, regularly serve in the children's ministry and lead a small group from their home in Orange Park. Rick also occasionally fills the pulpit at Harvest when Pastor Brett is away.
Founding Pastor, Elder
Brett and his wife, Lacey, are the blessed parents of four children. Pastor Brett has been preaching the unsearchable riches of Christ's Word for over 25 years and is passionate about leading God's people into a dynamic relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. A native of southern Illinois, he is a graduate of Union University (B.A.), Southwestern Seminary (M.Div.BL), and Luther Rice (D.Min.). He began preaching at age 18 and has served as a Pastor since 1994. He has been a guest speaker at camps, retreats, college chapels, and various other venues. His primary interests are sports, hunting, and reading. A list of his published writings can be seen HERE.
Victor has been leading worship and using God's gifts at Harvest since the Spring of 2014. A student at the University of North Florida, Victor is a pastor's son and has a heart for leading people to encounter Christ through worship. He is excited to be a part of what God is doing at Harvest.
Barry and his wife Carla served as small group and Sunday school leaders in Arkansas and Jacksonville prior to joining Harvest Bible Chapel of Jacksonville in 2008. After raising two daughters, Barry and Carla enjoy hunting shells and shark’s teeth at the beach when they have free time. While Barry’s career is in technology, his family and learning and sharing God’s Word are what he is passionate about. Two simple, and yet unfathomable truths that keep Barry eager to serve God: God is in control, and He is good.
