Welcome! We have good news!

God loves you more than you can imagine and has provided a way for you to be in a personal relationship with Him. The "way" He has provided is Jesus of Nazareth, the Savior. Jesus Christ died for human sin and rose from the dead so people can be forgiven and have eternal life with God.

Perhaps you think you are a good person and don't need a Savior. We would challenge you to take The Good Person Test by going to this page on our website and watching the video, "Are You a Good Person?" at the top of the page.

If you have been born again (see John 3.3), we want to help you find your place in serving God and advancing His Kingdom. We believe that the best we can do this is by helping you connect with other people who are being changed by the Gospel of Jesus. Connecting with other believers in a spiritually healthy environment is essential for discovering God's mission for your life.

At Harvest, we stand on the authority of God's Word. Jesus said, "Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock" (Matthew 7.24).

Furthermore, we recognize that the only way we have the ability to do what Jesus tells us is to be empowered by the Spirit. God says, "Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts." (Zechariah 4.6). Holy Spirit empowerment is the key to successful Christian living.

Standing on the WORD and

empowered by the SPIRIT.

We believe that Christians are best equipped to know God and fulfill His purpose in their lives when they are active in three kinds of gatherings:

We gather in MicroChurches and LIFE Groups throughout the week, as well as on Sunday mornings after our congregational gathering. These groups consist of an encouraging community of 4-25 people who meet to encourage one another, pray for one another, exercise spiritual gifts, engage with the Bible together, and encourage personal evangelism. These groups are the primary expression of the local church.

We promote weekly ATOMIC Groups (accountability groups) for personal spiritual development. These tiny groups meet anywhere, any time, in person or virtual. These strategic groups consist of 2-4 Christ Followers of the same gender, keeping each other accountable for...  (1) personal spiritual disciplines... (2) personal evangelism and... (3) personal holiness, including confession of sin one to another...all in a safe and caring environment of acceptance.

We invite everyone to join us weekly for The Sunday Gathering at 9:15 a.m. (location: 11570 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL, 32223), where we seek to INSPIRE, CELEBRATE, EQUIP, and DEPLOY. In this meeting, similar to what most churches call a "worship service," we sing together, share inspirational testimonies, observe the ordinances (Baptism and Lord's Supper), pray for missions, read the Bible, and receive Biblical instruction.

We would love for you to join us!

Thanks again for checking us out. We hope to meet you soon!
